Hello, I'm Jen!
As a Sr. Product Designer with a UX Specialist certificate from NNGroup, I like to be involved in the entire UX process.
For the past 9 years, I have been solely focused on B2B, SaaS, and Enterprise UX, where I have executed end-to-end product design. I’m comfortable navigating ambiguity and always rely on insights from stakeholders and subject matter experts. Working closely with product teams, I ensure that my designs are strategic and well-informed.
Design Philosophy
As a Computer Science grad, Object-Oriented UX (OOUX) just makes sense. It's a tidy way to explain how I've been approaching UX with a CS background. You'll see this lens in my work when I focus on what objects exist in the system, how they are related, and where users can see attributes throughout the system.
I believe in creating designs that work within the current limitations while taking steps toward an ideal user experience. A successful design direction requires informed discussions and a realistic understanding of the current limitations. By having a clear understanding of the present, we can work toward designing a more effective and engaging user experience for the future.
